Is the 1954 film with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney called White Christmas or Holiday Inn?
I could SWEAR I've seen television call Holiday Inn, but all the internet research I've done, says he has always been known as White Christmas and the Holiday Inn is a film 1940 with Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby. I am very confused! Thanks for your help.
White Christmas fact: The original idea was to bring Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby, as he had Holiday Inn succeeded in (1942). Astaire refused because he had "retired" at a time, so the party has worked for Donald O'Connor. O'Connor retired, and the party has worked for Danny Kaye. This is not a remake, it was made to be together, but Astaire was "retired" denied.
