How soon after delivery can start exercising again?
I have 31 weeks of pregnancy and 30-40m cardio w / light weights 3-4x per week. I hope that is good, I feel it like it is and I hope I can maintain it over the next and last 9 weeks left. I wondered how soon you can start exercising after birth? You can start taking walks almost immediately, right?
I was Doing Less than in the past stages of my pregnancy, and I was able to start light cardio about 2-3 weeks after delivery. I waited for the bleeding (Locchi) to stop, and I do not do weights until after Point 6 weeks. Be sure not to over-exert yourself, and if you notice your resumes or bleeding becomes heavy, stop for a few days. You should be able to do something slow easy walk almost immediately, but it really start with short walks.
